Kumbhalgarh is a gorgeous, massive and almost invincible fortress situated on the top of the Aravali Hills in the middle of a forest turned into a wildlife sanctuary. Built by Rana Kumbha in 15th century, its unique location and its grandeur makes it a must visit place in that part of Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second most important fort of Rajasthan after Chittorgarh.
Its on a Hill-top 1100 meters above sea-level. There are over 360 temples within the fort. Kumbhalgarh is also the birth place of Maharana Pratap - The Great King and Warrior of Mewar.
